Once you’re in, you need to click on “+ New” to create a new document. You can now paste your content, or even upload a file.

To test this tool, I’m going to use excerpts from the first chapter of Parallels, the dystopian science fiction novel I’m working on with my brother. We’ve been working on it for a while now, and I’m beyond thrilled to start refining it!

It’s the kind of project that keeps you up at night because you’re too excited to fall asleep.

Here’s what I got–

As you can see, editGPT proofread the excerpt and made some minor changes which have been highlighted in red and green. I would say the proofread version is pretty good. Let me try improving the passage.

Wow, that’s a lot of suggestions! I can see some unnecessary edits, but overall, I love the results.

editGPT suggests changes to your sentence style and structure, while keeping your tone intact. That’s pretty impressive for an AI tool.

You can also change the tone, rewrite, or make the excerpt more concise. If you’re happy with the suggestions, you can click on “Accept All” or accept the changes one by one. If you’re not happy, click on “Reject All”.
