Lightstorm, a I Squared Capital Portfolio Company, has successfully secured Rs. 700 crores in funding from NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited (NIIF IFL), a marquee financial institution dedicated to supporting transformative infrastructure projects in India.

This funding will significantly strengthen Lightstorm’s India business of connectivity, enabling the company to scale its operations and support the increasing demand for high-speed, reliable network solution

Lightstorm started its India operations in year 2020, NIIF IFL’s investment is a testament to Lightstorm’s success, having built a 30,000+ km fiber network across India with a capacity of around 700 Tbps. which currently serves around 100+ customers The funds will be used to expand the network footprint, enhance operational capabilities, and drive innovations to meet the dynamic needs of large enterprises across the country.
