Noida Authority Gets Water Misting Spray Vehicle to Curb Dust Pollution

In a proactive step towards improving air quality and enhancing environmental sustainability, Tata Power Powerlinks Transmission Limited has donated a state-of-the-art Water Misting Spray Vehicle to the Noida Authority. The vehicle was officially flagged off today by Ms. Vandana Tripathi, IAS, ACEO, Noida Authority in the presence of Sh. Tarun Katiyar, CEO of Tata Power Trading Co. Ltd., Sh. Vishwas Surange, CEO & ED of Powerlinks Transmission Ltd. & Ms Diksha Singh, Head-Business HR & CSR, TPTCL & Powerlinks, Dr. Sampa  Banerjee, Secretary SAVE, Mr. Dhirendra  Kumar, Director SAVE, along with senior officials from Tata Power, Noida Authority & implementing partner SAVE.

The newly donated water misting spray vehicle will play a vital role in controlling dust pollution across Noida, particularly in construction zones, high-traffic areas, and other regions with significant dust generation. The vehicle is equipped with advanced technology to spray fine mist, which helps to suppress dust particles and reduce air pollution, improving the quality of life for Noida residents and commuters.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Vandana Tripathi, IAS, ACEO, Noida Authority stated, “We deeply appreciate Tata Power Powerlinks’ generous contribution to our efforts in making Noida a cleaner and healthier city. The addition of this water misting spray vehicle will significantly help us in mitigating the challenges of dust pollution, especially in high-traffic and construction areas. The vehicle will be deployed across Noida in critical zones, including roadways, construction sites, and other areas with high dust emissions.
